æriké, the solo electronic live act project of Erika Benkő, was born after she was lured to her very first goa party in the summer of 2022, where she became completely captivated by the magic of psytrance. Although she had been making music all her life, exploring countless genres and constantly searching for her own voice, it was within the psychedelic world that she finally found a form of expression that most truthfully reflects her inner world.

A year later, she attended her first O.Z.O.R.A. Festival, where she also fell in love with psychill and ambient. Barely a month after that, she travelled to Berlin, where she met the German producer Total Balance - two experiences that would prove to be truly life-changing.

She turned her life upside down, said goodbye to her corporate middle-management career, and chose to follow her greatest dream: to share, through her music, the insights and healing she has gained on her journey of self-discovery.

Beyond her main musical work, she also creates humorous, satirical, and socially critical songs that explore deeper issues such as motherhood or the challenges of working life. These are accompanied by appropriate videos and are meant not for the stage, but for community building, entertainment, and raising awareness.

æriké (Benkő Erika) egyszemélyes elektronikus live act projektje azután született, hogy elcsábították élete első goabulijára 2022 nyarán, ahol teljesen magával ragadta a psytrance csodálatos műfaja. Bár egész életében zenélt, számtalan stílusért rajongott és folyamatosan kereste a saját hangját, végül a pszichedelikus világban találta meg azt a kifejezési módot, amely számára leghűbben tükrözi belső világát.

Egy évvel később ellátogatott élete első Ozorájára, ahol a psychill és ambient műfajokkal egészült ki a szerelem. Alig egy hónappal később Berlinbe is eljutott, ahol megismerkedett Total Balance német producerrel - két élmény, melyek számára sorsfordítónak bizonyultak.

Teljesen felborította addigi életét és búcsút intett multis középvezetői állásának, hogy legnagyobb álmát kövesse, és zenéjén keresztül továbbadja az embereknek a sok éves tapasztalatait a gyógyulás és önismeret útján. 

Emellett humoros, szatirikus és kritikus dalokat is szerez, amelyek komoly társadalmi kérdéseket boncolgatnak − pl. az anyaságot vagy a munkahelyi nehézségeket − és hozzájuk illő videókat is készít. Utóbbi időben híres dalokat is feldolgozott parodikus szatíra formájában. Ezek a dalok nem fellépésekre vannak szánva, közösségépítés, szórakoztatás és fontos ügyekért való kiállás a céljuk.
